Recycling Collection
The average person generates almost 1 ton of trash a year, but all that waste doesn’t have to go to the landfill. BSS offers a convenient service, Single Stream (also known as “co-mingled”) recycling refers to a system that allows our customers to deposit certain paper, cardboard, plastics and metals into a single rollout cart or commercial dumpster without being separated. The fully commingled recyclables are then collected and taken to our 30000 square foot, state of the art Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) in Mooresville, NC where they are sorted and processed for reuse.
